Convenient location near the metro and tourist bus station. Comfortable beds and hot showers. Spacious room with a great view of the city. The included breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Check-in was quick and early. I would recommend this hotel for its value and amenities.

The location is 10 minutes walking away from the airport bus #303 terminus or from the subway station, and is in Chengdu city center. They serve good food, Internet was fast. The air conditioning did warm well the room in mid-november. Staff was very helpful. They arrange decent priced trips to local attractions.

The room has no natural lighting except trough the bathroom that has very big windows. This however helps keep the room warm, a big issue in China in mid-november.

Clean and neat spot with friendly staff that makes you feel welcome 😊.

The location is very well situated in the city, next to the bus terminal and city center. The staff is very warm and friendly. All speak English. They have good coffee and western style breakfast. Also the sandwiches for a lunchbreak are delicious. The atmosphere is nice and rooms are good with comfortable beds (for this price of course). For backpackers they have a lot of Lonely Planets to read about China and for not so adventures people you can make your choice about almost every trip in or outside Chengdu you can imagine. Also organized trips and permits for going to Tibet is very easy to get from here. For this price you can not find a better stay in Chengdu!

Conveniently located near the main bus station, Chengdu Traffic Hotel provided us with a great base for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring our stay was comfortable. Despite some minor drawbacks, the value for money was excellent. I would recommend this hotel for a budget-friendly stay in Chengdu.

Great staff + very close to the bus station to northern sichuan destinations

The Chengdu Traffic Inn is very centrally located. From this vantage point access to anywhere in the city is possible with ease by taxi, by walking, bus or Subway. It does not call itself a starred hotel, rather it is a hostel, but the place operates like a hotel without the stuffy reception desk. The staff that man the desk, are excellent young people with a very good understanding of English, and of the needs of travelers. The girl running the desk when we arrived, payed for our taxi so we could have time to change our currency, having arrived from out of country that morning. The rooms are neat and cleaned daily, showers and facilities are well maintained. Laundry services are available for those that don't want to wash in the sink. The food is outstanding, offering both western and Sichuan specialties. The chef is a trained Sichuan chef that offers lessons to anyone interested, yet the comforts of pizza and sandwiches are easily offered to those in need. An espresso machine makes great coffee and good loose teas are also available. There is a lounge for television watching or gathering to meet and swap lies about travel, both inside and out. Generally the operation is very secure, and quite isolated from the street with a security guard at the gate. There is also a hotel associated with this operation, but I can't offer any information about that.

Leaving after a 10 day stay was the toughest thing I had to do on this trip!
